How It Works
Step 1: Concept and Initial Payment
When you come in for your first appointment, we’ll get an idea of how you want your monument to look and help you with ideas for a professional look. We’ll go over choices such as:
Color
Size
Text, Photos, and Designs
Which Cemetery To Set The Stone In
You’ll get a price quote for the work before we start the process. We will also order the granite needed for you if it is not in stock at our shop.
Step 2: Design Blueprint and Wait For Materials
We’ll use professional-grade software to draw up a draft of what your stone will look like once it is engraved.
We won’t start any physical modifications to the stone until you have approved this blueprint, so everything will look exactly how you want it. You can expect this blueprint to be complete in one or two months.
We will also have to wait on the granite to be delivered to our shop. With the blueprint and the granite we will be ready to start the physical work.
Step 3: Engraving and Setting
Now that your blueprint is approved, we will cut a matching stencil to use to sandblast the stone with the chosen design.
We’ll take the finished stone to the cemetery along with any cement base and vases to set the final product.
A time estimate depends on many factors but a safe expected wait time is 2-6 months. Pricing will vary greatly for different stones but expect a price of between $1000-4000. We will cover all of this in your initial appointment.
